Oliver Boyd and the Remembralls does a lot of acoustic work and writes lyrics that'll break your heart. One of the absolute best wizard rock bands out there. Myspace link: www.myspace.com/oliverboydandtheremembralls"End of An Era" (live):

The Remus Lupins A lot of the Remus Lupins' songs are pretty good, some better than others. Some of the best ones are available on the band's myspace. www.myspace.com/theremuslupins"Wizards Who Died" is not the band's best song, but it cracks me up. It's the most enthusiastic and upbeat tribute to the fallen you may ever hear. The vid below is not made by the band - just the song.

The Weasel King is, as far as I can tell, a one-man band and not terribly prolific or visible in the Wizard Rock community, but I really enjoy his work. It's easier to dance to while you're cleaning your room than...most wizard rock. www.myspace.com/theweaselkingmusic

Ministry of MagicMoM is by far my favorite wrock band. Their style is "Electronica / Powerpop / Pop" as their myspace puts it, but they do have some acoustic versions of their songs. They have everything from laugh-out-loud upbeat songs to powerful, inspiring ballads to beautiful love songs, and everything in between. Their sad songs actually make me want to cry. Most of their happy songs make excellent dancing music. lol My favorite song, being such a Ravenclaw, is Lovegood which is (obviously) about Luna, but I couldn't find any really good videos for it, so instead...here are Lightning Struck Tower and Accio Love. I decided I to put two videos to show the many varying styles of MoM. (Jason Munday is one of the band members.) (This was not made by the band. Oh, and the girls singing in this song are The Moaning Myrtles.) MoM's myspace: www.myspace.com/ministryofmagicmusicMoM's youtube: www.youtube.com/user/Ministryofmagicmusic
